The City Museum in Bad Wildungen

Here, in the town museum of Bad Wildungen, you can explore the pre- and early history of the town and region.

Diverse exhibits give you a vivid picture of prehistory and early history in and around Bad Wildungen. Especially impressive is an almost completely preserved skeleton from the Neolithic Age! You can also marvel at the largest collection of hooked rifles in Europe - about 50 years ago, a hooked rifle from the 14th century was found here. The everyday life of past centuries can also be felt and experienced through exhibitions on topics of stock-keeping, washing and school.
