Geo-Foyers

Currently, the Geopark GrenzWelten is home to six GeoFoyers in different regions.
Depending on size and possibility, the GeoFoyer is equipped with a small exhibition on the history of the earth and provides analog and digital information about the Geopark, the area and offers.

There you will also find our new, interactive map, with the help of which you can plan your excursion in the Geopark and pull it onto your smartphone! So you always have all the information at hand...

You can currently visit the following Geo-Foyers and use them, for example, as a starting point for a hike or museum visit:

• The central information point in Wolfgang-Bonhage-Museum in Korbach (Geo-Foyer in the entrance area on the right)
• The Geo-Foyer Kalkturm Korbach directly at the Korbacher Spalte
• The Geo-Foyer in Nieder-Werbe in the house of nature (ATTENTION: currently being renovated and not open regularly)
• The Geo-Foyer Diemelsee in the visionarium in Diemelsee-Heringhausen
• The Geo-Foyer in the museum Haus Hövener in Brilon
• The Geo-Foyer in the regional museum Wolfhagen in the geological exhibition
• The geopark and history portal in the history adeventure park Medebach
